Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website or booking any treatments or services. By accessing this website or booking with The Muse Medi Spa by Essex Cosmetics, you agree to comply with and be bound by the Terms outlined below.
1. General Information
The Muse Medi Spa provides a range of aesthetic treatments delivered by trained, licensed professionals. All products used are selected for their proven safety and clinical efficacy. We operate under a medical model and reserve the right to decline treatment at our discretion, without the need to provide a reason.
2. Booking and Payment
By booking with us, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age and legally eligible to receive aesthetic treatments in the UK. A £50 booking fee is required to secure all appointments. This fee is strictly non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking.
Appointments can be booked via telephone or through our online booking system. A booking is only confirmed once the £50 fee has been paid. If payment is delayed, your appointment slot may be offered to another client.
Your booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment. You will receive confirmation via email and text at the time of booking, and a reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment.
3. No Refunds Policy
All payments for treatments are final. We do not offer refunds on services once performed. If you are dissatisfied with a treatment, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will take reasonable steps to address your concerns.
4. GDPR and Data Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data for treatment, communication, and operational purposes.

5. Consultations
All consultations require a £50 booking fee, payable at the time of scheduling. If you proceed with a treatment following the consultation, this fee will be deducted from the total treatment cost. If no treatment is booked, the fee is retained as a consultation charge and is non-refundable.
6. Rescheduling Policy
We require a minimum of 7 days’ notice to reschedule your appointment. If sufficient notice is given, we will apply your existing booking fee to your new appointment. If less than 7 days’ notice is provided, the booking fee will be forfeited and a new fee will be required to secure a new slot.
7. Missed Appointments and Late Arrivals
If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your appointment due to tightly scheduled bookings. In such cases, your appointment will be treated as a missed session, and your booking fee will be lost.
Failure to attend an appointment without notifying us will also result in the loss of your booking fee. Repeated no-shows or late arrivals may result in refusal of future bookings.
8. Children and Under 18s
We do not offer treatments to individuals under the age of 18, with the sole exception of our Teen Facial service, which is available to those aged 13 to 17. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor to their appointment, remain present during the consultation, and provide written consent prior to treatment.
You may be asked to provide photographic identification if you appear under 25. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your appointment without refund.
For safety and insurance reasons, children and babies are not permitted in the clinic or treatment rooms under any circumstances. Our staff are unable to supervise minors while treatments are being carried out.
9. No Animals Policy
To ensure a clean, calm, and safe environment for all, pets and animals are not allowed in the clinic, except for registered assistance animals. Please make alternative arrangements prior to your visit.
10. Client Information and Confidentiality
All client records are treated as confidential and held securely in line with UK data protection legislation. Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent. You may opt out of our communications at any time by clicking 'unsubscribe' in our emails or contacting us directly.
11. Complaints Policy
We aim to deliver the highest standard of service. If you are unhappy with your experience, please email a formal complaint to info@essexcosmetics.co.uk with full details, including the date of your visit and the nature of your concern. We take all complaints seriously and will respond promptly.
12. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and professional service, Essex Cosmetics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our website or treatments, except as required by law.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page. By continuing to use our services or website, you agree to be bound by the most recent version of these Terms.
14. Governing Law
