    Typically most filler treatments we administer last for around 1 2 months. Recent studies indicate that HA fillers could last over a decade.   • Who May Not Be an Ideal Fit for Dermal Fillers?
    While our dermal fillers provide unparalleled rejuvenation, they may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend caution or reconsideration for clients experiencing: Active facial or oral herpes infection Infection/active acne in the treatment area Current systemic infection Recent dental work Uncontrolled diabetes Blood-clotting issues Allergy to any components of injectable hyaluronic acid Pregnancy or breastfeeding For those on immunosuppressive therapy, we advise careful consideration before treatments.   • When Can I Resume Treatment Following Dermal Filler Dissolving?
    Two weeks after dissolution, you can proceed with your chosen dermal filler treatment. This interval ensures that the previous filler has completely dissolved and your skin is fully prepared for the next procedure. If you suspect any residual filler remains, please contact us. Additional Hyalase may be necessary to completely dissolve any lingering filler before we move forward.
  • What are the risks of dermal fillers?
    Whilst injection complication is incredibly rare, it is essential that you are aware of the possible risks and side effects of treatments so that you can properly consent to treatment. This is also why it is imperative that you use a medical professional for treatment so that should any adverse event occur, your provider is able to assess, diagnose and treat as required. Full information on all formalities is always discussed at your consultation.     We are unable to treat anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. There is not significant evidence to support the safety of toxin or dermal filler within pregnancy or lactation and it would be unethical to treat in this instance.
  • Is Bruising or Swelling Expected After the Procedure?
    In aesthetic procedures, while precision and technique greatly minimise the chances of bruising or swelling, it is still a slight possibility whenever a needle comes close to the skin. At Muse Medi Spa, we can't guarantee no bruising or swelling, but incidents are rare, especially with treatments like Botox. We recommend scheduling your appointments with a two-week recovery window before any major social engagements.
  • How can I prevent bruising and swelling?
    Avoiding alcohol, aspirin and ibuprofen for 72 hours before any injectable procedure. Avoid strenuous exercise and caffeine on the morning of your appointment. You can also take arnica tablets purchased from any pharmacy or health store for 2 weeks pre procedure to minimise bleeding.
  • How Can I Minimise the Chance of Bruising and Swelling?
    At Muse Medi Spa, we aim to make your aesthetic journey joyful and rewarding. To help ensure this, avoid alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen for at least 72 hours before any injectable treatment.     The complimentary 2-week review is not compulsory nor essential. This review is not a top up, but an assessment of your treatment outcomes. Toxin doesn’t work immediately, and unlike filler results are not seen for the first 7-10 days. 2 weeks post treatment, if a correctional dose is required it will be administered at this review appointment. If your toxin treatment has taken well, with no asymmetry or irregularity, additional toxin will not be required or administered.

The only exception for a refund of the £50.00 booking/consultation fee is if you are medically exempt.   • Is the Consultation Fee Deductible from the Treatment Cost?
    At Muse Medi Spa, we have a consultation fee of £50.00 to access the expertise of our aesthetic professionals. Should you proceed with a treatment after the consultation, this fee will be deducted from your total treatment cost. This consultation credit can be applied to any treatment booked within three months of your consultation. However, if you decide not to undergo a treatment, the fee will remain a non-refundable consultation cost.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide a notice period of seven days to allow us to make the necessary adjustments.     Unfortunately, we cannot allow children or babies in our clinics due to safety and insurance reasons.
