Before your pregnancy facial

  • Consult your healthcare provider to ensure treatments and products are safe during pregnancy.

  • Hydrate well and avoid waxing or threading on the face for 24–48 hours before

  • Inform your aesthetician about your pregnancy and any allergies or sensitivities

  • Skip facials if you have active skin infections or irritation

After your pregnancy facial

  • Keep skin moisturised with Obagi Hydrate Facial Moisturiser or similar gentle hydrators

  • Use a physical sunscreen daily such as Obagi Physical Sunscreen SPF 50 for protection

  • Avoid harsh actives (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, hydroquinone) for 5–7 days post-facial

  • Skip heavy makeup for at least 24 hours

  • Avoid picking or exfoliating irritated skin

  • No saunas, steam rooms, or hot tubs for 24–48 hours

  • Continue gentle cleansing with Obagi Gentle Cleanser

  • Watch for skin reactions and report any concerns to your aesthetician or healthcare provider promptly
